Golden moments under the rainbow at RockyGrass 2014

1:45 p.m. July 26, Lyons – Minnesota’s Pert Near Sandstone is twanging traditionally at the 42nd Rockygrass Festival as folks hang out in the peaceful creek under the cliffs as moments linger from Friday, one of the best I’ve experienced in 30-something years of attending these festivals in Colorado including the double rainbow over Planet Bluegrass as Bela Fleck and Abby Washburn gave a warm, heartfelt set to the audience which gave Planet Bluegrass’ Craig Ferguson a standing ovation for making it all possible….

KGNU is streaming (almost) the entire Rockygrass Festival at afterfm.com/rockygrass. The festival will be broadcast live on KGNU (88.5 FM, 1390 AM) and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
