Rock-reggae band Pepper to play CU’s Homecoming concert

Pepper, a rock-reggae band from Hawaii, will perform at the University of Colorado’s Homecoming concert at Balch Fieldhouse on Oct. 22, the CU Program Council announced Monday.
The concert, which is open to the public, will begin at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Students may purchase tickets at a discounted price of $22; non-students will pay $30. Anyone attending the concert will be required to show a printed ticket and a valid form of photo ID.
Special guests will be announced later, according to the Program Council.
Pepper, which formed in 1997, is made up of bassist/vocalist Bret Bollinger, guitarist/vocalist Kaleo Wassman and drummer Yesod Williams. After a brief hiatus in 2000, the band reformed and has released two albums.
Pepper kicks off its fall tour on Sept. 27 at Fall Fest at the University of Redlands in California.
