As the first official notes ring out at Planet Bluegrass since last fall’s devastating flood, John Lehndorff will be blogging live for Second Story Garage from the 42nd annual Rockygrass Festival, July 25-27 at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons. Lehndorff has written about bluegrass music in Colorado for the Daily Camera, Rocky Mountain News and Aurora Sentinel. He is also a pie expert. For the first time, KGNU is streaming (almost) the entire Rockygrass Festival at afterfm.com/rockygrass. The festival will be broadcast live on KGNU (88.5-FM, 1390-AM) from 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
