T.E.N. chat with Ashley Dean
T.E.N. sit down with Ashley Dean at Second Story Garage.
Even if you haven’t heard of T.E.N. yet, you’ll recognize the musicians who make up the relatively new band.
Eric McFadden of Parliament Funkadelic is tearing it up on guitar. Banging the hell out of the drums is Thomas Pridgen of Mars Volta and The Memorials. Then there’s Fishbone’s Norwood Fisher providing the groove on bass.
When they first played together in October, the sum of the parts was too good to let go. They recorded an EP and they’re working on a full-length album they’re hoping to release Oct. 10. You know, 10/10.
Watch and listen as they bring their rock, funk, blues and soul roots together in their performances of “Queen Dreamer,” “On A Front” and “Fourth Of July.” Don’t miss their interview with Ashley, either, where they talk about the music, the virtues of ice cream and, most important to them, their work with underprivileged youth through WeAre10Star.org.
What they brought us: Some CDs and posters. Simple, but we always love merch.
