The Epilogues perform ‘Call Me a Mistake’

The Epilogues perform “Call Me a Mistake” at Second Story Garage.

Even if this is the first time you’re hearing The Epilogues, it won’t be the last.

Of course, if you haven’t heard them before, it’s possible you’ve been living a hermit lifestyle. The Denver-based indie rock outfit has been building buzz locally for years, and with the debut LP Cinematics, they’re breaking out on a national level. The strength of Chris Heckman, Nate Hammond, Jason Hoke and Jeff Swoboda’s synth-driven pop rock has carried them all over the country since Cinematics’ October 2012 release.

As always, you don’t have to take our word for it. The Epilogues plugged in and cranked out “Paradigm Shift,” “Call Me A Mistake” and “Hunting Season.” And then they opened up to Ashley.

What they brought us: Cinematics on vinyl (score!), an original hand-printed poster and some CDs.
