Yonder Mountain String Band will play a four-night New Year’s Eve run at Boulder Theater.

The slate of shows will cap an eventful year for the influential Nederland-born band. They announced the departure of founding member Jeff Austin in April. Allie Kral, formerly of jamband Cornmeal, and Jake Jolliff, formerly of string band Joy Kills Sorrow, have joined YMSB as regular guests throughout the year, and they’re on the NYE bill.

The New Year’s Eve shows kick off Wednesday, Dec. 31, and run through Saturday, Jan. 3. Presale tickets are available at the band’s tour page. General sale begins Friday, and tickets are available at the Boulder Theater.

The venue plans to serve Bloody Marys and other drinks on New Year’s Day “to help fans start the year off right,” the band announced. (For a preview of how Yonder Mountain sounds with Kral and Jolliff, check SecondStoryGarage.com soon.)
